SYSTEMS

SYMPOSIUM

Montreal,

Canada

A N D SCOPE: There have been attempts over the years to find durable and high performance materials for fuel cells and related systems. However, the choice of materials for the m a i n t e n a n c e and external operation of fuel cell systems (i.e., electrocatalysts, gas diffusion electrodes, membranes, separators, current collectors, fuel conditioning and storage, etc.) is severely limited. OBJECTIVES

The Symposium is the d e v e l o p m e n t purpose of the fundamental and involving fuel phosphoric acid, solid oxide fuel

designed to survey the advances made up to now in of new materials for fuel cell systems. The Symposium is to provide an o p p o r t u n i t y for all industrial research, development and practice cell systems. Papers dealing with alkaline, solid polymer electrolyte, molten carbonate and cell systems will be considered.

The accepted papers will be published in a bound volume by the International Association for Hydrogen Energy. Only a limited number of poster contributions can be published in addition to the lectures. Those interested in submitting a paper should specify poster or podium when sending the abstract.
